The Brief

Ekso needed an identity that could hold its own against established enterprise tools, something that felt technical and trustworthy without being cold or corporate. The brand had to communicate the core product promise immediately: powerful software that never leaves your network. Clean, confident, and built for professionals who take data seriously.

PROCESS

Working from an initial concept, systematically refined the logomark through multiple geometric iterations: adjusting line weights, stroke terminations, colour assignments, and proportional relationships to improve visual consistency and scalability.

Brand System

The logo started with a three colour system: green, blue, and orange, which came naturally from the circuit board aesthetic of the hexagon icon. Each colour sat on a different face of the shape, giving it a technical and component driven feel.

As the brand developed, the client simplified it down to just orange and near-black. The three colour version stayed as the product icon since the colours help it read clearly at small sizes, but everything else moved to the cleaner two colour system.

Website

The website was designed to communicate a technically complex product simply and directly. Each section addresses a specific customer concern: data privacy, ease of deployment, feature depth, and migration from competitors.
